After considerable research and investigation, the Anglo Far-East Bullion Company (the bullion agents for Pecunix) have decided to move all the Pecunix gold to Zurich in Switzerland. AFBC are also moving all their gold because they believe it is the safest and best country for gold at present.

All calculations are denominated in GAU and OAU — the symbols given to the value of Pecunix. GAU means "Grams(G) of Gold(AU)" (1GAU = 1Pecunix, i.e. 1 Pecunix is equivalent to 1 gram of fine gold or ~$14); OAU means "Ounces(O) of Gold(AU) (1OAU = 31.1034768 Pecunix)

Accounts: All FREE, universal (both personal and merchant).
Interface: Account management (balance check, sending/receiving funds, changing profile, etc.) is available only through secure web interface. Interface language is English. Pecunix accounts have three login access levels to give user complete control over her account.

On February, 25, 2005 Pecunix has just completed some basic updates to the system. The new account creation process and login system brings the system within reach of even the most timid of computer users. Security is enhanced and new features are added.

Payments by email: E-mail payments can be made to non-Pecunix account holders quickly and easily by e-mail. These "electronic gift certificates" make introducing friends and associates to Pecunix as simple as sending them an e-mail.
Transaction fee: By default funds reciever is charged 0.50% of the payment for amount up to 100.00 GAU (~$1400) and 0.15% of any additional amount over 100.00 GAU to a maximum fee of 3.00 GAU (~$40) with 0.0001 GAU of minimum fee payment (~$0.0014). A payment fee is rounded up to the nearest 0.0001 GAU. Payer have a choice to pay transaction fee herself.
Storage fee: No (Pecunix builds the storage fees into the transaction fees).
Depositing and withdrawal of funds: InExchanges and OutExchanges are available through third-party exchange services. There is a list of Preferred Retail Exchange Organisation (PREO).
Merchant tools: Merchants can easily accept payments in Pecunix gold from customers on an existing or new web site with Pecunix Receipt Interface (PRI 1.0.6) or establish automated interaction with the Pecunix server to initiate Pecunix payments, or check account history and balance with Pecunix XML Interface (PXI 1.0.6). Detailed manuals for both tools are availanle both in HTML and PDF formats.
